THQ have revealed that they are looking to offload Tomonobu Itagaki and Vahalla Studios' Devil's Third to another publisher.

"When we ranked all of our product releases when we underwent our restructuring, the profitability of Devil's Third wasn't comparable with our other franchises," THQ's Brian Farrell added in a statement.

The game was first announced at E3 2010, and has been undergoing some difficulties during development with an engine change forced upon the development team as the company behind the original engine went out of business.

Whether or not, THQ can find a buyer for the game remains to be seen, but the troubled publisher obviously see little financial upside in continuing to finance the project.
