THQ Nordic continues to add to their stable of developers and IPs and today they announced to studio purchases, Goat Simulator devs Coffee Stain Studios, and Finnish racing specialists Bugbear.

THQ Nordic has been working with Bugbear on Wreckfest as a publisher for a while now, having seen the Steam version graduate from Early Access to full release this summer and with the console version set to release in 2019.

"THQ Nordic strongly believes in Bugbear's competence in developing successful action racing games and wants to make long term investments to support Bugbear's future growth journey."

Bugbear is best known for their work on the FlatOut series (the first two games in the series) and Ridge Racer Unbounded (2012) and their first game was Rally Trophy, released on PC in 2001.
