Movie tie-ins usually get us all sorts of tense, but Tintin's got two very big reasons why it might actually be fun: Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg.

The two directors are overseeing the film adaptation of the comic book hero, and are obviously keeping a eye on the game production as well. Whereas when other movie-types appear in marketing videos, you can take it with a large dose of salt.

But Jackson's already proved involved in the process with his King Kong effort, and despite aborted attempts previously, Spielberg has repeatedly expressed interest in videogame creation.

The game's looking like a 2D platformer with on-rails action sequences, and...well, check out the video trailer (and screens) for yourself.
