Inxile Entertainment's Torment: Tides of Numenera, the spiritual successor to classic RPG Planescape: Torment, will not deliver all stretch goals, as verified by Line Producer Eric Schwarz via a Reddit comment and picked up by PC Games N.
The game was financed by crowdfunding and asked for $900,000 US dollars in April 2013, garnering way more than that - $4.2 million. That added 17 stretch goals, mainly comprising of extra content to the game. What will be missing is three from the initially planned nine companions in the game, however, and the "Oasis of M'ra Jolios", the second big city. Players also have to live without a crafting systems and Italian localisation.
Do you think these missed stretch goals are a big deal, or can you forgive the developers considering the extra content added?
