Trackmania Turbo hitting open beta this weekend

Today Ubisoft announced that the latest instalment in the Trackmania series, Trackmania Turbo, goes into open beta for a short time this weekend. The Trackmania series is known for its wacky tracks where players go looping and jumping all over the place, and this version of the game, which is coming to current-gen consoles for the first time, looks no different.

The game touts 200 'head-spinning tracks,' that are divided into four environments that each utilise its own gameplay style. Players will also be able to, like in other Trackmania games, create their own tracks for others to play.

Trackmania Turbo will enter open beta on Xbox One and PS4 starting March 18, from 1pm UK time. The game is set to officially release on March 24, when it will land on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
