Fans of old-school sidescrolling arcade games will be soon able to try out Earth's Dawn, the anime-style combat game with some added RPG elements developed by OneOrEight Studios and published by Rising Star. As both companies have announced today, the game will physically ship on PS4 as a boxed retail release on October 28, whereas the digital version will become available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on November 1 and 2 respectively.

The game was formerly released in Japan by the title of Earth Wars, and its style may be reminiscent to other genre-defining classics such as Muramasa: The Demon Blade, but with a way faster pace, a sci-fi apocalyptic setting and somewhat different RPG-like skill trees for character progression. Players will become members of the super-human soldiers squad A.N.T.I. and fight their way throughout over 100 missions.
