Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes comes to Nintendo Switch next Friday, January 18 - a beat 'em up mixed with a bunch of retro gameplay styles created by Goichi 'Suda51' Suda under the 'indie' label. It's simpler, shorter, and full of references to other video games and pop culture, although one of those references is pretty much new, as it's a very big tease of a game that doesn't exist, yet. In fact, it's almost the announcement of No More Heroes 3.

At the end of the game, and unrelated to the plot (so, don't worry about spoilers), Shinobu talks to Travis Touchdown while the credits roll. She reminds him that the assassins await and he answers that "some bloodshed would be nice right about now", later getting told to "bring your A-game or I'll kill you."

No one says the name NMH3, but it's pretty clear. And that's not all. At the end of the credits, Grasshopper Manufacture lets us see and play a game for a few seconds. This is a different Travis with an upgraded design that moves freely in a 3D environment. Finally, he says a few sentences:

- We are in development.
- For what game?
- Like I'm gonna tell you that.

Take a look at both videos below - the credit roll of Travis Strikes Again and the gameplay sequence hinting at No More Heroes 3 in the video. If that gets you interested in the game, you can also check out our review which we just published today.
