Hot on the trail of his victory at Glitch 6, beating many renowned professional Smash players, Gavin 'Tweek' Dempsey has been hired by TSM to join William 'Leffen' Hjelte as their second Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player.

Since May last year Tweek has been a free-agent despite being one of the best Super Smash Bros. players around right now. Tweek's performance since Super Smash Bros: Ultimate's release made him an appealing player to sponsor, as he's taken first place in every tournament he's entered with the exception of a fourth-place finish at NYXL Pop-Up. Using Wario, Donkey Kong, and Young Link Tweek has been able to maintain his reputation as a dominating competitor in the US Smash Bros. Scene.

This also shows that TSM is maintaining their presence in the Smash Bros. circuit. While Leffen has remained a loyal member of the TSM family since he joined in 2015, Gonzalo 'ZeRo' Barrios' departure at the end of 2017 had many wondering who they'd bring in to take his place.

While ZeRo has left some big shoes to fill, Tweek's performance as of now leaves little to be desired. What do you think of TSM's latest acquisition?
