You can read more about our hands-on impressions of The Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game here, but before you go, check out the interview below with producer Tim Wileman, who had plenty to tell us about the studio's adaptation of the upcoming movie.

"We want it to be zippy, we want it to be intuitive," Wileman said of the combat which, as you'd expect given the Ninjago theme, is a key component of the game. "It's very fluid [...] we've got a lot more enemies on screen than usual Lego games as well. So the way you switch between enemies and bounce off them and use those abilities to maximise your combos is fresh and it's new for Lego games."

Check out the full interview below. The Lego Ninjago Movie is hitting cinemas around the world around the same time as the video game launches on PS4, Switch, and Xbox One on September 22, with the game also coming to PC on October 13.
