A mobile game called Forza Street was spotted online last week after a mistake in a hyperlink pointed to its existence on mobile devices, and while some of us might have expected it to be officially revealed in the Forza livestream last week (which you can watch below), that wasn't the case.

Instead we got news on the Series 7 update for Forza Horizon 4, bringing the Festival Playlist and a tweak to seasons, now featuring challenges with specific rewards. There are also Showcase Remix events brought in with each change of season, featuring the existing Showcase events but with subtle changes, as well as three new cars, bug fixes, and more smaller features.

As reported by Wccftech, Forza creative director Dan Greenawalt also revealed that work has begun on a new project entering the concept phase, which will include the public for the first time in Forza history.

"We're trying to change it. I think you've seen it in this last year with Forza Motorsport 7 and trying to engaging the community more heaviliy with the livestreams, but it's even changing how we do the concept process itself. Interviewing players, getting involved in Skype, I think this new process is awesome, but it's a change and it's something we've been learning how to do better," he explained.

"We want the ideas from the fans. We're talking about entering a new phase, how do we involve fans from concept? It's not just features, it needs to go beyond that. We need to have better collaboration between all the developers, all the workers, and it needs to go beyond just the forums and an idea here and there. It needs to be like 'What's your core motivation? Why do you play? What do you like in other games?'"

Greenawalt also explained that the Forza team is moving "weight" onto the new project, even though they're not done with previous games, and you can get involved by joining the official Discord channel.

What would you recommend for a new Forza?

REVIEW. Written by Kim Orremark

"It's genuinely fun, wonderfully beautiful, fast as hell, and well-stocked with both cars and content. And it all feels very familiar."
