Developers Toys for Bob and publisher Activision have introduced us to two new characters what we'll get to know in the upcoming Skylanders Imaginators. These are the club-wielding Barbella and the ex-pirate Tae Kwon Crow.

Below we've included character bios, screens and some gameplay so that you can get a better understanding of who these quirky warriors are.

Barbella

Barbella was the best fitness trainer in all of Skylands. Not only did she possess otherworldly strength, she was also a firm believer that a healthy diet and exercise led to true happiness. With such a positive message to spread, Barbella decided to open her own fitness center called "Flex-a-lot", where she hoped to instill good eating and workout habits with all of her patrons. But one day, the gelatinous villain known as the Gulper destroyed her gym, and it took all of Barbella's strength to keep it from collapsing while everyone fled to safety. It was then that Barbella realized that bad guys were more hazardous to your health than anything else, so she began to train in the ways of the Sentinel, where she quickly became one of the greatest masters in the world!

Tae Kwon Crow

Tae Kwon Crow was once the leader of a villainous band of air pirates in Skyhighlands. But pirating was never his true passion. All that really mattered to him was stopping anyone that "dared" to do anything that he deemed out of character. If a cake maker "dared" to make a pie instead, he would put a stop to it. If an ordinary sheep "dared" to baaahh longer than normal, he would end that nonsense right then and there. Tae Kwon Crow could not even stand it when anyone even "dared" of thinking of daring to do anything. But after he was captured by the Trap Masters, Master Eon dared him to change his ways and use his abilities for good instead. At first, Tae Kwon Crow was angry that Eon would dare make such a bold suggestion, but he soon realized that he could actually serve as a role model to young Ninjas and help them avoid the dark path that he went down. Forsaking his katana for the more traditional roundhouse fire-kick, Tae Kwon Crow now defends Skylands from whoever dares threaten it.

"Each of the stages is full of great level design, wonderful rich colours and tones, and this all combines to help make it feel like a living cartoon world."
