Two Point Hospital delayed on consoles

The team needs more time to program the game correctly, and we can expect it in the first half of 2020.

Those wanting to treat cartoon patients on consoles in Two Point Hospital will have to spend a bit longer in the waiting room, as Two Point Studios' brand director Craig Laycock has revealed on the game's blog that this version has been delayed into the first half of next year.

Red Kite Games is helping with the process, and the reason for the delay is that "making a management simulation game on three consoles (and making it the best it possibly can be on all three), is a tricky programming puzzle".

The time and engineering work required to nail this has meant the team needs a bit longer to get things right, and Laycock adds that they're especially keen to nail the release as the press that have seen the console version thus far have been impressed with what's been done.
