Ubisoft today released a short documentary video, giving viewers an insight into how they moulded the world, and gave life to the idea of a stone-age Far Cry game. The video talks about how they tried to create a whole new language, Wenja, and how it reflects the way the game world was structured.
It goes into how essential Wenja, which is based on the Proto-Indo-European language, gives the game the level of authenticity and realism that the team was trying to get across. They consulted a number of different sources including historians, anthropologists and linguistics in order to get the game world to feel authentic down to the very last detail.
