Ubisoft has just released some fresh footage of Beyond Good & Evil 2, which was fully revealed at last summer's E3. The team under creative director Michel Ancel has been "working hard on the game", Ubisoft writes on their own blog. The clip with actual gameplay from the pre-alpha of the game show unseen footage on how we navigate the game world using a jetpack and ship. It also gives signs how co-op players can stay close together when traveling at high speeds by forming an armada using their ships. And we get to see some fighting including heroine Shani showing off some melee combat moves with a staff. Clearly, the game is still at an early stage by the looks of it.
There is no official release window or timeline indicated at this point, but by all accounts we should not expect Beyond Good & Evil 2 to release anytime soon.
