Ubisoft has just announced a new deal with The Tetris Company that'll see the all-time classic puzzler Tetris heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game, which has hit more than fifty different platforms in its thirty year history, has sold hundreds of millions of copies (several of them to me personally) since its launch in 1984. Not the most awe-inspiring announcement we've ever heard, but strangely comforting nonetheless.
Ubisoft's Yves Guillemot issued the following statement in the press release: "We're very excited to start working with this world-renowned brand, and can't wait to combine Ubisoft's expertise and all the capacities of next-gen consoles to create an exciting new Tetris experience for fans."
