EA has revealed that UFC 3 will feature Conor McGregor on the front cover, and that the game will be coming on February 2 on PS4 and Xbox One.

"Two belts, two covers - EA Sports got it right again," McGregor said. "It's an honor to be on the cover and I can't wait to play the game."

The game also features what's called Real Player Motion (RPM) tech, which is described by EA as "a revolutionary new EA Sports animation technology that sets a new bar for motion and responsiveness in the best-looking - and now the best-feeling - EA Sports UFC game ever. With over 5,000 new animations captured and rebuilt from the ground up, players can now move, strike, and create seamless combinations in-game with the world's best mixed martial arts athletes. Every punch, kick, block, and counter has been recaptured and rebuilt on cutting-edge animation tech to look and feel life-like and responsive, delivering the most strategic, competitive fighting experience in franchise history."

"UFC 3 and RPM Tech mark a new generation of gameplay in EA Sports games," said Creative Director, Brian Hayes. "The new animation technology has allowed us to take a massive leap forward in motion and responsiveness. The result is a complete overhaul to gameplay where every move is more strategic and looks more authentic and beautiful."

Another new feature is the new GOAT Career Mode, where choices made in the career impact your story. When not in matches, players make choices that impact hype, fans, cash, and more, with part of this being the social media system to create rivalries and fill personas.

What's more is that new multiplayer modes have been introduced as well, including Stand & Bang, Submission Showdown, and Fight Now Custom. There's a Tournament Mode on top of this, where players can "take on as many opponents as possible in bracket-style elimination rounds with continuous damage and fatigue."

The Champions Edition is also available for pre-order, granting up to three days early access, the choice of one current or former champion in Ultimate Team, and 20 premium packs for Ultimate Team as well. If this sounds interesting, check it out here.
