UK CoD championships detailed

Activision have announced details for the UK Call of Duty: Black Ops championships that in turn serves as a qualifier for the world finals at the Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles in September (where prize money amounting to $1 million will reach the hands of the world's best players).

The UK qualifying event will be held at the Sound Nightclub in London's Leicester Square, hosted and organised by Multiplay, on August 7. More information and details can be found on Codukchampionships.co.uk.

The UK event will feature the new Call of Duty: Elite service so players can analyse the matches down to the most minute detail. The Call of Duty XP event in Los Angeles will play host to the first public display of the eagerly awaited multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
