Riot Games and LVP have revealed that Twickenham Stadium will host the first live UK League of Legends Championship finals on September 1, the first live event of the league that started back in February.
Twickenham is no stranger to esports, hosting the qualifiers for the Faceit Major for CS:GO last year, and Excel Esports also has a base there too. If you're interested in attending the event, you can find tickets here.
Olia Fadeeva, Associate Product Manager at Riot UK, said: "The League of Legends European regional structure offers the clearest path to going pro. The UK is the newest territory to create this path but in just a few short months we've seen a number of teams rise through the ranks and grow their fanbase and brand. NVision Esports and Demise performed incredibly during Forge of Champions and to be able to offer them a spot in the UKLC is very exciting. These teams represent all the UKLC has to offer, an aspirational league that helps new talent shine."
