It doesn't come as that a big surprise really, but it should still be applauded; Uncharted 2: Among Thieves went on to win five awards at the Game Developers Conference award show. Naughty Dog's brilliant action adventure picked not only up Game of the Year, but also Best Writing, Best Technology, Best Visual Arts and Best Audio. Congratulations!
Best Game Design went to Batman: Arkham Asulym, Rocksteady's masterpiece that won game of the year on GRTV. Flower snagged Best Downloadable Game and Scribblenauts was branded both best Hand Held Game and for the award for Innovation. Gamereactor favorite Torchlight, which we can't stop showering with love, picked up Best Debut.
Gabe Newell from Valve was praised with a Pioneer Award and John Carmack of id Software was given his Lifetime Achievement Award - most certainly a well deserved one!
Congratulations to all the winners!
