Last year at E3 (or to be precise EA Play), EA dropped a surprise release for the sequel to their 2016 puzzle platformer, Unravel, quite naturally naming it, Unravel Two. The sequel in the fan favourite franchise was released on PC, Xbox and PlayStation which raised questions on whether a Switch port would ever see the light of day. And given the seamless co-op featured in the game, Switch seemed the optimal platform for it.

Last night however at one of Nintendo's devious Directs, one of the many incredible announcements was that Yarny would finally receive some screen time on a Nintendo platform.

This information regarding the Switch version of Unravel Two shows how developers are constantly trying to release their content over as many possible platforms. Back in June 2018 it was reported (https://www.gamereactor.eu/news/673743/Unravel+Two+not+yet+possible+on+Switch/) that Coldwood Studios (developer of Unravel) wanted to make a Switch port, but the technology just wasn't quite there. Now around eight months later, we've seen great progress. Hopefully this will mean we will see more games make it over to the Switch over the coming years.

Unravel Two comes out on Nintendo Switch on March 22.

Are you excited to take your Yarny adventure on-the-go?
