Paradox Interactive and Tantalus Media have revealed that Stellaris: Console Edition is getting the Utopia expansion on August 13, bringing plenty of new features. What's more is we've also got a new trailer for Utopia's arrival, which you can see below.

Included within the expansion are megastructures like Dyson Spheres and ring worlds, as well as habitat stations serving the role of planets. Ascension Perks can also be unlocked with Utopia, letting you customise your empire by following one of three paths.

Those who want a more controlling hand over the galaxy can influence civilisations via indoctrination, making them adopt your ethics via observation stations, and advanced slavery is also included, letting you choose specific roles. Lastly we have advanced governments as well, letting you adopt unique civics and authorities.

Will you be indulging in this?
