Recently, Valve released a brand new mode for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive by the name of Danger Zone, and very quickly, after some thorough rummaging around in the map, some nosy players found a hidden room filled with computers. This mystery room was revealed to contain the opening lines of the original Portal's ending song, and so the community thought that this might be an announcement of sorts.

That sadly is not the case. The game's official Twitter account has now debunked this rather hopeful theory, by stating: "Congrats to all who have found our Portal Easter egg on dz_blacksite! We're just having a bit of fun and the Easter egg is not a product announcement. Enjoy Danger Zone!"

Valve creator and CEO Gabe Newell has however announced that the company will start to develop more games, as they want to be more like Nintendo. Let's hope that a new Portal is actually on the cards. Who knows, maybe they'll get around to Half-Life 3 at some point?!
