The Switch is getting more and more ports of both indie and triple-A games, underlining the popularity on the portable console. Now Curve Digital will launch Futurlab's Shoot 'em up hybrid Velocity 2X as well as Perfectly Paranormal's rather bizarre comedy game, Manual Samuel, with both set to land on the Nintendo Switch this August.

Velocity 2X was first released on PSVita and PlayStation 4 in 2014 and was released for Xbox One and PC in 2015, and it's actually the first time a Velocity title will appear on a Nintendo platform. Manual Samuel will also be released in August for Switch, also via the eShop. There are currently no specific dates for either game, so stay tuned for more news in due course.
