Sega's mech fighting game Virtual On is headed to Xbox Live Arcade with Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram (ver. 5.66) currently being ported for the downloadable service. The series has been released on both Sega Saturn, Dreamcast and Playstation 2, but is best known from the arcades where it has been very popular in Japan. Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram is the second game in the series (released in 1998) and it was also released on Dreamcast. The question is if Sega will be able to squeeze the game within the tight size limitations Microsoft put on XBLA games and whether the twin stick gameplay will translate well to the Xbox 360 controller. It is most certainly another effort from Microsoft to attract the Japanese hardcore gaming audience.
