A few days ago, we reported on the news that Russian esports organisation Virtus.pro had parted ways with Artyom "Shockwave" Simakov. Well, only a few days later we now know that former Rogue star Eugene "karzheka" Petrishin will be joining V.P as the replacement.

"We are happy to have karzheka in our team," said Kirill Zolotov, Virtus.pro R6 team manager in a press release. "Eugene is one of the most decorated CIS players with Invitational Finals and a lot of international trophies under his belt. His experience will complement our roster really well. The guys already know each other so it won't take long for him to adapt."

The new V.P Rainbow Six: Siege roster is now as follows:

Artyom "wTg" Morozov
Alan "Rask" Ali
Eugene "karzheka" Petrishin
Pavel "p4sh4" Kosenko
Andrey "m1loN" Mironov

Karzheka is a very decorated individual in the R6S scene who has seen success during his time at Rogue, when the organisation won the European League 2020 - Stage 1. With the European League 2021 - Stage 1 set to begin in a few days on March 18 at 5pm GMT / 6pm CET, we'll have to see whether he can reflect that success.
