Warframe's The War Within PC Update has been a success

Digital Extremes, the developer of Warframe, has announced that its most recent update The War Within, that released on November 11, rocketed Warframe into the top three games on Steam during the weekend.

Warframe's number of concurrent users on Steam reached an all-time high with, 68,530 players and more than 1.2 million hours played in one day. Warframe also beat its record number of monthly active users this November with more than 1 million unique players across PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

The free-to-play third-person shooter has attracted more than 26 million users worldwide since its launch in March 2013. The War Within has been quite successful on PC, so could it repeat the success when it releases on consoles.

The War Within is a free download and is available now for PC and will be released in the coming weeks for PS4 and Xbox One. Why do you think it's so popular?
