Inxile has announced that their post-apocalyptic game Wasteland 2 lands on Nintendo Switch in August, and although there's no specific release date, Nintendo shared the first official trailer of the game for the hybrid console, so that's something to keep us busy while we're waiting at least.

The trailer itself isn't new, as it's just the old launch trailer with the Switch logo stamped here and there, and as for the game itself, this will be Director's Cut, where the game is rebuilt on Unity 5 for better visuals and increased reactivity to player decisions. This includes more than 150 weapons, customisation perks, and precision strikes, among other changes to the original version, although Inxile didn't explain if there's something really new like touch controls.

Do you think a tactical RPG like this fits the Nintendo Switch?

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"From time to time the pace drops away, but for the most part this is an enthralling and engaging role-playing game."
