Watch 4 minutes of exclusive Skyrim for Switch footage

We recently got our hands on the new The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch. The game just got a final release date as it will arrive on November 17.

Besides playing towards our preview impressions we also had the chance to capture a few minutes of off-screen gameplay with Bethesda's RPG in handheld mode, and here you can watch a compilation of that footage:

Watching the clip you can get a better idea of how the graphics look on this portable Skyrim (you can also play it in full-HD via TV mode), as well as the menus, the dual-wielding combat controls and the load times. The gameplay video combines some seconds from the legendary intro sequence with a more advanced portion, after using the map and the quick travel option.

Skyrim arrives on the Switch six years after its acclaimed original release, now adding all the expansions launched so far (Dragonborn, Dawnguard, and Hearthfire) as well as some Nintendo-related costumes and items.
