A Plague Tale: Innocence is a harrowing adventure game that we've looked at a couple of times since it was announced (our most recent impressions can be found here). Asobo's plague-riddled medieval adventure is heading to PC, PS4, and Xbox One soon, with the game's release scheduled for May 14.

And so, with the game's launch being so close, the studio wants as many eyes on it as possible and, to help with that, Asobo and publisher Focus Home Interactive have just shared eight minutes of unedited gameplay footage. The clip shows a short section of the game where young protagonist Amicia is creeping through hostile areas filled with guards and deadly rats. Check it out below.

REVIEW. Written by Mike Holmes

"There are areas where Asobo can look to make improvements in the future, but the studio has delivered an engaging adventure that we thoroughly enjoyed despite its flaws."
