Watch the Making of FIFA 17's The Journey

Step behind the scenes of Alex Hunter's rise to stardom.

With FIFA 17's new story mode The Journey, EA Sports wants you "to feel like you're controlling the story" of the young footballer Alex Hunter while helping to make a name for him in the English Premier League (more on that here).

With the following dev diary, a behind the scenes 'making of' video showing the creation of the new mode, the developers explain how they approached and tackled the task, something never seen before in a football game.

You can read our review of FIFA 17 here, and it will launch in a week's time and will include The Journey powered by Frostbite Engine on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Here's the full video, gameplay and the latest trailer on that mode:
