One thing that VR games have struggled with is locomotion, and the 3dRudder controller is one solution that allows players to tilt a disc-shaped controller with their feet in order to move around a 3D environment. Now the controller has been announced for PlayStation 4 and PSVR and Dóri got a chat with 3dRudder's Christophe Dissaux at CES in Las Vegas to learn more about it.
The 3dRudder for PlayStation 4 will launch in April and is available for pre-order at €119.99 (or equivalent), the original 3dRudder for PC has been available since early 2017. The PSVR edition will support around 20 titles at launch including Sairento, Bow to Blood, Blind, and Ultrawings.
