A Normal Lost Phone came out of nowhere and garnered some attention when it was released early this year. Inspired by the likes of Her Story, the game allowed you to explore the contents of a lost phone in order to solve a mystery, and the next game from Accidental Queens, Another Lost Phone: Laura's Story, explores the same sort of concept, but with a brand new story and more involved puzzles to solve.

We sat down with Accidental Queens co-founder Elizabeth Maler during Gamescom to learn more about the game, that is as much as she was willing to reveal.

"Both A Normal Lost Phone and Another Lost Phone: Laura's Story are games about finding a lost phone," said Maler. "And [you] try to find out what happened to the owner of the phone and try to find out why did they lose it. So it's kind of the same mechanics in both games, but both games tell completely different stories about very different topics as well. It's not really a sequel, Another Lost Phone, because you don't have to have played the first one in order to enjoy the second one."
