West of Dead revealed at X019

Imagine Ghost Rider in the wild west, and that's what you've got, with Ron Perlman voicing the main character.

A new twin-stick shooter called West of Dead was revealed at X019, taking place in Purgatory and seeing you play a character similar to Ghost Rider, voiced by Ron Perlman.

This hero is called William Mason, and you tackle procedurally generated hunting grounds in Purgatory, shooting your way through bad guys. If you want to try this, there's good news, as an open beta is running on Xbox One right now until November 25.

This is being brought to us by Upstream Arcade, founded by ex-Lionhead developers, and the full game is coming to PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One in 2020, being an Xbox Game Pass title too.
