The re-reveal of Beyond Good & Evil 2 was a pleasant surprise at this year's Ubisoft E3 briefing, this in spite of the fact that Ubisoft didn't show a lot and that it was clearly still in a very early state.
Shortly after Ubisoft Montpellier launched their so-called Space Monkey Program - a developer-driven blog for the most passionate fans and supporter of the series, Michel Ancel and the studio. The studio posted a survey via this initiative earlier this week asking fans about their preferences and personal data. Among those questions people have to decide about their subjective point of view in terms of topics like the importance of "huge and varied open worlds", "strong RPG elements" and PvP/ PvE combat, but also about the Space Monkey Blog in general as well.
Interestingly, Ubisoft is using some references from current sci-fi-experiences to help guide fans to provide meaningful feedback. Games like Destiny and even Assassin's Creed were mentioned, as well as the Star Wars saga. Perhaps these opinions will help guide the direction of the development, or maybe they'll just serve as a means for Ubisoft to understand more about their hardcore followers.
