Kotaku reported from a Gamestop manager's conference in Texas, that peripheral manufacturer PDP inadvertedly pegged the release of Wii U for November 18 - saying that their Wii U peripherals would be available at launch on said date.
Since, then the company has gone into full reverse stating that they are not aware of when Nintendo plans on releasing Wii U - just that their peripherals will be there at launch.
There's some conflicting reports on just what was said, but where there's smoke there's fire and November 18 has previously been pegged as the North American launch date for Wii U.
Now, if Nintendo would just come out and confirm a launch date we wouldn't have any of this sillyness. What do you say, Reggie?
