Wii U launch titles outlined

Satoru Shibata previewed a selection of confirmed launch titles for Wii U that will be out as the console launches on November 30.

From Nintendo there will be New Super Mario Bros. U and Nintendoland at launch. Ubisoft adds Rayman Legends and Zombi U, with EA bringing out the big guns with FIFA 13 and Mass Effect 3: Special Edition. Activision is also bringing out Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 as expected.

Other titles mentioned for release in 2012 include Assassin's Creed III, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Scribblenatus Unlimited, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, Batman: Arkham City: Armoured Edition, Warrior Orochi 3 Hyper, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, Darksiders 2, and NBA 2K13.

Shibata also highlighted Lego City Stories: Undercover from TT Games and Platinum Games The Wonderful 101 (Project 101). Although these were not confirmed as launch titles.

A number of downloadable titles were also highlighted by Shibata - these will be out before the end of the year. These included Trine 2: Director's Cut from Frozenbyte, Toki Tori 2, and Nano Assault Neo.
