Wii U launches next fall?

Nintendo's Satoru Iwata has revealed that the next console to come out of Nintendo - Wii U - will be shown at E3 in june next year, which points to a release sometimes next fall - and not in the spring as some may have hoped.

Nintendo are keen not to repeat the mistakes they made when launching Nintendo 3DS earlier this year:

"Based on the bitter experiences we have had with the Nintendo 3DS, we are making every effort to prepare so that the Wii U will not stumble during its launch," says Iwata.
