Wild Rift: All set for the WREC Finals

Barcelona will be the stage where the best 7 EMEA LoL: Wild Rift teams will compete.

Riot Games has everything ready for the League of Legends: Wild Rift EMEA Championship starting today, May 5th and running through Sunday, May 8th. Seven teams will battle it out in Wild Rift for the title and a €200,000 prize.

This is the most important competitive event in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the mobile game League of Legends: Wild Rift. It also brings an end to the first competitive season of the game. You can see it live from Twitch or on YouTube.

The six best teams will be competing in the event, five of which have already qualified:


  • The Belgian squad Game-Lord (EU WREC champion).

  • NASR Esports, from the United Arab Emirates and champion of the TR WREC.

  • Rix.GG, based in the United Kingdom and qualified in the EU WREC Last Chance tournament.

  • Team Queso: Spanish team qualified in the EU WREC Last Chance tournament.

  • Parla Esports, Turkish squad qualified in the TR WREC last chance tournament.

The last team in the tournament will be one of the following, who will meet in the opening phase today at 13:00 BST / 14:00 CEST to determine which one will be the sixth and last participant.


  • Gaming Formulation, from Norway.

  • Unicorns of Love, from Germany.

At the end of this first match, the group stage will begin. The semi-finals and the final will be held on Saturday and Sunday, May 7 and 8. If you want to check the complete game schedule, you can find it at: https://www.wildriftemea.com

Anything can happen on the Wild Rift, and Gamereactor will be in Barcelona to experience it and broadcast it live in the very final on Sunday the 8th.
