Witcher 3 gets mod inspired by Ciri casting controversy

Recently we reported that a casting call was put out for the actress set to portray the character Ciri in the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher book series, with the call not only looking for someone a bit younger to portray the character (under 18), but were specifically looking for a BAME actress, meaning Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic.

This has caused quite the stir, which ultimately led showrunner Lauren Hissrich to take a hiatus from Twitter. One modder thought it prudent to show us how just such a character might fit into the Witcher universe, and to everyone's immediate surprise, she's just Ciri... with a different skin colour.

The mod is live now through NexusMods, and is made by a modder called TotaLinsanity. We also don't have much in the way of a description other than "A new Ciri texture to make the game more diverse".
