As you may or may not know, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus' German version was markedly different from versions in the rest of the world due to the removal of Nazi symbols and features throughout the game, and when we talked to narrative designer Tommy Tordsson Bjork and senior game designer Andreas Öjerfors at the Fun & Serious Game Festival in Bilbao, we couldn't help but ask about the differences.
"We worked a lot on that in The New Order. Me and Jens we just write the story we want to write then the sanitisation team do their best to sort of make it as close as possible to that story and as close as possible to what the story is try to convey, and I think they did a good job," Bjork said.
"I think it's important to say that we make an effort to make sure that the story that's being told is the same story. We might use different symbols, and different words, but it's the same story, it's the same conflict," Öjerfors added.
