If you're a fan of the classic game Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, you'll know that it sports classic 8-bit visuals. You'll also likely know, then, that Lizardcube is developing a remake of the game that's due out this year, and publisher Dotemu has revealed a very interesting feature in the game.
As demonstrated in the trailer below, a 'retro feature' will be included in the game, and basically this allows you to change the visuals to classic 8-bit style all with the touch of a button. Obviously this changes how it plays, including movement, but it's nice that classic fans and those interested in the original get this nod to the past.
Do you prefer the classic 8-bit graphics, or the sleeker, modern visuals?
