Worms are getting crafty in WMD

Team 17 has this week unveiled a brand new crafting system for their upcoming game, Worms WMD, which is heading to PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year.

They have released a trailer demonstrating how the new crafting system works and the benefits of upgrading weapons. With the crafting it expands the Worms' arsenal from 35 to 80 weapons.

"Players will start the game with a specific amount of crafting ingredients, depending on which game scheme is chosen. Further ingredients can then be collected from crafting crates or scavenged by dismantling existing weapons," said the press release.

New weapons will do more damage or have different abilities, such as the flatulent sheep which upgrades your flying sheep to poison your enemies with awful smelling gas. Sounds like Worms to us!
