Team 17 recently released a trailer exploring some of the new features you can expect from Worms WMD, which is set to introduce brand new weapons, crafting, vehicles and buildings, plus of course the return of some much-loved classic weapons and gameplay.
For the first time the long running series will see the introduction of vehicles, allowing players to dominate the landscape with tanks, helicopters and mechs. Team 17 will not stop there, though, adding buildings as well, which provide a new tactical edge to the classic Worms gameplay, as players take shelter and can hide under cover (the spineless cowards).
The game will also feature an extensive single player campaign, boasting 30 campaign levels and 10 challenge missions for you to work your way through, comparing yourself against your friends on leaderboards along the way.
Additionally WMD will also add a new crafting system which will further expand the crazy arsenal of weapons at your disposal. This will include insane creations such as the Party Balloon, Luzi, Electric Sheep, Sticky Grenade and Concrete Angry Donkey, to name but a few. WMD will place over 80 weapons and utilities at your fingertips, including many returning classics and a slew of new additions such as the Dodgy Phone Battery, the Unwanted Present and the OMG Strike.
Worms WMD is out now for Xbox One, PS4 and PC, check out the launch trailer below, and stay tuned for our review, which will most likely land at some point tomorrow.
