After taking a trip back in time with the release of World of Warcraft: Classic earlier this year, Blizzard has revealed that more PvP opportunities are now available for players, these being The Warsong Gulch and Alterac Valley battlegrounds.
10-player teams can take each other on in capture the flag on Warsong Gulch, with the first team able to capture three winning the match and earning Honor towards their PvP rank.
You'll need to be at least level 10 to visit the battlemaster and queue in one of the capital cities, but you can also travel to the battleground in the Northern Barrens if you're a Horde member, with Alliance players heading to Ashenvale.
Below are the level brackets that you'll be paired against:
10-19
20-29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60
As for Alterac Valley, this lets players engage in 40v40 grudge matches, and you'll need to be at least level 51. You can also queue for this at battlemasters, or head to the Alterac Mountains yourself.
There are PvE and PvP objectives, requiring players to control locations like mines and towers while you push towards the main objective, this being the Vanndar Stormpike general for Alliance, with Drek'Thar the goal for the Horde. Destroying enemy towers and killing elites will make all this easier, and resources from mobs and players can be turned in to get extra bonuses.
Earning reputation within this battleground opens up new rewards, and quests within the battleground also grant access to other rewards too.
Will you try either of these out?
