The Yakuza Remastered Collection has just been revealed at Gamescom this year, following on from the first two games being remade for modern audiences on PS4, meaning we can expect Yakuza 3, 4, and 5 heading our way between now and February next year.

In fact, Yakuza 3 is available right now when you purchase the collection digitally on the PlayStation Store, with Yakuza 4 coming on October 29, and Yakuza 5 on February 11, 2020. These games will all unlock on these prescribed dates if you get the collection, but there's also a Day One Edition as a limited physical run, launching on February 11 next year and available for pre-order here.

This version will cost £49.99 ($59.99 USD, or 59.99 euros), containing all three games on two desks and a red collectible case, pictured below. This is the first time Yakuza 5 is available physically as well, which is why it'll include a Yakuza 5 PS3 case for collectors.

The Yakuza Remastered Collection

As expected, this collection features performance upgrades like 720p to 1080p, as well as 30 to 60 FPS, and all three have been re-localised as well, with scripts reviewed and rewritten in parts, featuring content previously cut from the games too. This means Mahjong, Massage Parlor, Shogi, and Cabaret minigames are in 3, as well as various substories, making their debut in the West. There are quality of life changes as well, including a substory tracker on the map and the ability to switch between Japanese and English written lyrics during karaoke.

You can see a trailer and some screens from the collection below. Are you glad to have the chance to play all Yakuza games on PS4 now?
