You can unlock all of Vigor's items "just by playing"

During Gamescom we got the news that Vigor had released in full V1.0 version, and at the show we talked with Bohemia Interactive's brand and marketing manager Petr Poláček about the game, which has come out of the Game Preview program.

"You can unlock every item in the game just by playing," he told us when asked about microtransactions. "We are selling just the cosmetics, and you can get some items or some better weapons quickly, more quickly, if you buy it, but Vigor doesn't have the aggressive monetisation scheme [...] so you don't have to pay anything and you can get every item in the game just by playing."

We also asked about the potential for more players and extra maps in the future, to which he said:

"Of course, because we are Bohemia Interactive. The one thing we are really doing good is really great and accurate maps and terrains in our games like Arma and DayZ, of course even with Vigor. So yeah, we plan to introduce other maps in future updates."
