You won't be able to edit your Destiny character in Destiny 2
You'll have to start over if you want a new look.

We already knew that Bungie will allow players to bring over their Destiny characters into the sequel, as long as you're playing on the same platform and same account, but if you were hoping to get a new hair-do or edit your character in any other way, we have some bad news.
The studio has confirmed that it won't allow players to change the character's look, and it will be the exact same as in the original Destiny. No reason was given for the decision, but if you want to play with a different look, then, you'll need to create a character from scratch.
