Zelda: Breath of the Wild gets expansion pass

With just three short weeks remaining until the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Wii U and Switch, Nintendo has unveiled an expansion pass for both versions of the game. Here you'll get additional content split into two downloadable updates, the first scheduled for this summer, and the second is coming "holiday 2017".

The price is £17.99/€19.99 for both (it is not possible to purchase each pack individually), and it will be available on launch. Those who buys it will instantly get access to three additional treasure chests, where one of them contains a t-shirt with the Switch logo for Link to wear.

Here's what the two DLCs will contain:

DLC Pack 1 (Summer 2017):
• Adds new Cave of Trials challenge
• New hard mode
• New feature for the in-game map

DLC Pack 2 (Holiday 2017):
• New original story
• New dungeon
• Additional challenges

The content will be identical on both Wii U and Switch.
