A few weeks ago we reported that the people behind an emulator called Cemu had got The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Wii U version up and running for the first few minutes of gameplay on PC.

With a Cemu version 1.7.4 Breath of the Wild now runs at 30 FPS instead of 15 (thanks, PC Gamer), so the progress made in two weeks is stunning. Also, previous physics issues with Link's abilities like Stasis and Magnesis should work flawlessly in 1.7.4. Water collision didn't work before either, so Link couldn't swim, but that's now been fixed too.

Would you rather wait for this emulator to finish, or buy a Wii U/Switch for the game?
