Yesterday, League of Legends team Origen revealed that their AD carry and support player duo Zven and Mithy were leaving the team. At the time, the team didn't reveal where the two players were heading, but that has now become clear.

Jesper "Zven" Svenningsen and Alfonso "Mithy" Aguirre Rodriguez are both joining G2 Esports, the current reigning champions in the European LCS. Given how strongly both players performed with Origen, who finished second in the Spring split, there should be little doubt that this should make an already strong G2 line-up even stronger.

G2 hasn't made a formal announcement of the trade. Instead, they put out a video dubbed Vacation is Over (in reference to their terrible performance at the Mid-Season Invitational, an event the team didn't prep for in favour of vacationing) that teased the two players' joining of the lineup.

To make room for its new stars, G2 have let two players go. Jin-hyun "Emperor" Kim is heading home to Korea to play for LongZhu Gaming, while Glenn "Hybrid" Doornenbal has been traded to Origen.
